Mighty Shady brings sunshine to The Java House

Mighty Shady is a high energy collective that tastefully combines Rock/Reggae/Funk with other diverse influences to create their signature sound. Forming in 2012, their performances are highlighted with dual guitars, a groovy rhythm section, and powerful vocal harmonies. After releasing a pair of EPs, Mighty Shady released their first full-length albumDoubleThink in August 2014. They have performed at many regional festivals, such as Wakarusa (AR), Summercamp (IL), 80/35 (IA), and Family Gathering (WI). They have shared the stage with many talented acts such as Dopapod, Jon Wayne and the Pain, Roster McCabe, Aaron Kamm and the One Drops, Family Groove Company, Indigosun, Dead Larry, Zeta June, Aitas, Firesale, and Useful Jenkins.
