Iowa's new "Shall Issue" weapons law went into effect at the beginning of this month. Among other things, the law makes it more difficult for county sheriffs to deny permits. Host Ben Kieffer talks with Ross Loder of the Iowa Department of Public Safety about all the changes under the new law. Then, in our second half hour, we'll have two opposing views on whether it's good for Iowa. Lonny Pulkrabek, the Sheriff of Johnson County, opposes the new gun law. Sean McClanahan, President of the Iowa Firearms Coalition, supports it.
