The story of Heisman Trophy winner Nile Kinnick is widely known; an outstanding young athlete who died before his time. But the very first winner of the Heisman was also from Iowa. Host Charity Nebbe and biographer Brian Cooper discuss the life and times of Jay Berwanger. Berwanger was the son of a blacksmith in Dubuque who almost didn't go to college.
