Amid allegations that the U.S. National Security Agency may have been tapping the phones of European allies, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel, NSA officials testified on Capitol Hill this week.  But is this really a surprise, or is spying on your friends a routine tactic in international relations?  Host Ben Kieffer talks with Jim McCormick, Professor and Chair of Political Science at Iowa State University and Dennis Goldford, Professor of Politics at Drake University.  They also discuss the flawed rollout of the federal government's website allowing citizens to sign up for insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act.  Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius' testimony before a House panel centered around who should get blamed for the debacle.
