Stay with Curt Snook’s show, during the 11 a.m. hour as the Des Moines Symphony’s Maestro Joseph Giunta joins IPR's Jacqueline Halbloom by phone to talk about the orchestra’s 75th Anniversary Season Debut: Scheherazade and Nomade to be held on September 29th and 30th at the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines. Maestro Giunta will chat about their world premiere of a newly-commissioned piece by Steve Heitzeg for this occasion called a Symphony In Sculpture.
