Legendary Cyclone basketball coach Johnny Orr passed away on Tuesday at the age of 86. Today on Talk of Iowa, we remember Coach Orr.

Host Charity Nebbe talks with Bryce Miller, Des Moines Register Sports Columnist, Jim Hallihan, former assistant coach for ISU Basketball, Bump Elliot, former Athletic Director at the University of Iowa, and Jeff Hornacek who played for Orr and is now Head Coach of the Phoenix Suns. We also hear stories from listeners.

Title IX became law in June of 1972, the act guarantees gender equality in education, but the greatest impact has been seen in sports. It declares that, "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance..."

It's being dubbed as 'Iowa City to London', as the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Wrestling Trials are held in Iowa City on April 21 and 22. Charity talks with Iowa State University Wrestling Coach Kevin Jackson about Cyclone hopefuls seeking a ticket to the Summer Olympics in London. Coach Jackson will discuss the Freestyle and Greco-Roman scoring system used in the Olympic Trials.
