We hear about a program to disperse grass and flower seeds native to Iowa to county roadside managers. IPR's Dennis Reese talks to Kirk Henderson of UNI's Tallgrass Prairie Center. Later, Brian Guidry of the Acadiana Center for the Arts and Mel Andringa of Legion Arts in Cedar Rapids tell us about Guidry's installation at CSPS, "Slipstream," which evokes the power of the Cedar River by showcasing discarded items found by the riverbank.

We'll hear from four of Iowa's semi-finalists in the James Beard Foundation Awards for culinary arts. The categories range from Best Chef to Rising Star Chef. Participating in the program: Carly Groben, Joe Logsdon, Steve Logsdon and Matt Steigerwald.
