Hosted by Ben Kieffer
"The Exchange" is Iowa Public Radio's talk program that focuses on the news, issues and events in our state. The list of lofty goals for this national award-winning program includes going beyond the headlines of breaking stories, giving listeners access to elected officials, framing community problems, providing listeners the chance to discuss them as well as offer ideas to solve them.
Each Wednesday Ben Kieffer is joined by political analysts from around the state to dissect the previous week in politics, both at the state level and how national events will impact Iowans.
During the Iowa Legislative Session, Iowa Public Radio Statehouse Reporter Jeneane Beck hosts The Exchange on Mondays, live from the Law Library at the state capitol. This program gives great insight into what's happening at the capitol in the coming week, and lets you call or email your questions direct to lawmakers.
Listen to "The Exchange" on the Iowa Public Radio News network weekdays at 12:00 PM. To ask a question or comment call 866-780-9100 (toll free), or e-mail theexchange@iowapublicradio.org.
