"Talk of Iowa" offers a mix of regular guests, newsmakers and interesting Iowans to talk about the arts, culture and lifestyle of our state. This IPR original brings a range of experts to the microphone to discuss art and culture, offers practical advice on home improvement and provides insightful analysis of politics. Guests include Jim Pease for the Wildlife Program and of course, the Hort Gang on Fridays. Join us for smart, friendly conversation about what's happening in Iowa and what makes this a special place to live.
Dr. Jim Pease has a broad background in education, natural resources, wildlife and camping. He currently serves as Extension Wildlife Specialist in the Department of Animal Ecology at Iowa State University. He teaches courses in interpretation of natural resources, human dimensions of wildlife, and international agriculture courses and directs statewide efforts in Extension wildlife education. Jim's wildlife program is a regular monthly feature on "Talk of Iowa" and airs on the second Tuesday of each month.
