Tallgrass is an Iowa City-based band that mixes gravel road vocals, quick-picked guitar, and a rhythm section with stomping ground sound. Raised by wolves, taught by squirrels, enemy of the owl. Loved by little old ladies and cats throughout the Tri-State area. Members of the group played together for years in the Jensen Connection and the Glitch, and they're glad to be making music again.
