Fly Iowa "takes flight" in Iowa City this weekend, for the first time since 2001, showcasing the role of aviation in Iowa.

Joining River to River to preview the event - Chris Ogren, Chair of the Iowa City Airport Commission, and Matt Wolford, General Operations Manager for Jet Air Incorporated, tell us what to expect and why it is so important to get young people interested in the world of aviation. Visit here for more information on the event.

Also, the Waterloo Air Show kicks off this Saturday and goes until Sunday, featuring the Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds. Visit here for more information on the event.
