Republican Bill Would Cut Birth Control for Thousands of Uninsured Women

The Iowa House has approved a massive budget cutting bill that reduces spending on everything from pre-school education to investments in upstart clean energy businesses. But health clinics across Iowa are more concerned with another, much smaller proposed budget cut. It's one that would eliminate family planning dollars for thousands of low-income women. Iowa Public Radio's Kate Wells has the story.
