Packed House For Fiorina

2016 Republican Presidential candidate Carly Fiorina speaks to a packed house at the Mason City Public Library

A crowd of more than 200 squeezed into the Mason City Public Library Friday morning to see Republican Presidential candidate Carly Fiorina.

The former CEO of Hewlett Packard wasted no time criticizing Democratic front runner Hilary Clinton for emails she had on her personal computer during her time as Secretary of State. Fiorina says ” we now  know that that server that was in the basement in her home in Chappaqua was sent to a IT firm in New Jersey in 2013 where they spent a lot of time and resources to make sure it was wiped clean.” Fiorina says she believes the Administration has lost its accountability. She also says if she’s elected she will reinvest in the military and undo the nuclear deal with Iran if Congress approves it later this year.

The chair of the Cerro Gordo County Republican Party says one of the largest crowds ever was on hand to see Fiorina.  Barbara Hovland says it was standing room only. She says   “ I’ve gotten response from other candidate’s visits but nothing like this.”

Fiorina toured a factory in Garner Friday afternoon.  On Monday, she’ll be on the Des Moines Register Soap Box at the State Fair.
