Overcoming Eating Disorders

According to the Eating Disorder Coalition, the risk of developing an eating disorder is 50-80% determined by genetics.

Approximately 11 million Americans suffer from an eating disorder. These diseases are hard to understand, difficult to treat and often deadly. 

Host Charity Nebbe speaks with Iowans who have overcome or are dealing with disordered eating.  She also sits down with therapist Michelle Roling—president of the Eating Disorder Coalition of Iowa—and Sue Clarahan, a registered dietitian who specializes in helping clients with eating disorders.
