The changing color of the leaves can only mean one thing: October has arrived, and with it comes Iowa Public Radio’s Opera in October series! For five weeks, listeners can tune in to enjoy opera productions from the Des Moines Metro Opera, UNI Opera Theatre, and Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre.
Opera in October airs on Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m. on Iowa Public Radio Classical. Opera in October begins with the Des Moines Metro Opera’s production of Verdi’s Falstaff on Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd.
