New Iowa Program Targets Girl Bullying

Researchers are gaining more and more insights into what drives girl bullies and why they so desperately need help. Some characteristics of a girl bully are jealousy, feelings of superiority, poor impulse control, and lack of empathy. This hour, Charity Nebbe looks at a new Iowa program, "A Way Through," which targets girl bullying in grades K through 8. Guests are co-founders Jane Balvanz and Blair Wagner and Prof. Suzanne Freedman of the University of Northern Iowa.
