Mount Everest Overcrowding and World Record Juggling in Iowa

A recent photo by Outside Magazine shows a line of 300 climbers on Mt. Everest creating a bottleneck which contributed to the deaths of four people. On this River, program, guest host Alex Heuer talks with the first Iowan to summit Mount Everest,  Charlie Wittmack , and Iowa City physician and mountain climber Chuck Huss. They’ll talk about the increasing popularity of climbing the world’s tallest peak and the implications. Then, Alex talks with the world’s fastest juggler, Iowan Mark Hanson of Kanawha. His juggling attempt was recently certified by Guinness World Records.
