Download the podcast to find out more about the Minnesota artist and his rambling, rolling music straight from the banks of the Mississippi.
Jack Klatt has traveled far and wide through the highways and bi-ways of America, Europe and Canada with his guitar always near by. A self-taught musician and lyricist with eyes and ears wide open, always eager to soak up songs and stories. Klatt has sung in countless barrooms, cafes, living rooms, theaters and street corners all over the world, entertaining folks with his boisterous finger-picking style and whiskey worn voice, continuing the troubadour tradition of folks like Utah Phillips, Blind Willie McTell and Townes Van Zandt.
Mississippi Roll, Klatt's first full album recorded in 2011 as part of a Minnesota State Arts Grant, has since garnered praise all the way from California to the UK. With a solo album, Love Me Lonely under his belt you can expect to see him on the road, with or without his band, rollin' through a town near you.
