Iowa's college students have some of the most student debt in the nation - twenty five percent more than the national average. The state's been at the top of the student debt rankings for years. And despite promises of change from schools, the Board of Regents, and the statehouse, Iowa is still expected to be near the top of this year's list. Iowa Public Radio's Kate Wells investigates how we got here, and what is - and is not - being done to reverse the trend.
