Shattered Glass will be presenting an exciting concert series across Iowa performing various works for string orchestra.
Shattered Glass is a sixteen member conductor-less string orchestra based in New York City and very much a product of the 21st century. Virtuosic and versatile, Shattered Glass balances vibrant excitement with a meticulous respect for piece, composer, and tradition. With a repertoire that ranges from Bach, Britten and Bartok to Schoenberg and Stravinsky, Shattered Glass has also been active in innovative crossover collaborations with Grammy-award winning pop and hip-hop artists. At their core is a commitment to building a special relationship with audiences by tailoring each performance to specific audiences and venues.
