Within the past few days, 38 writers from more than 30 different countries have arrived in Iowa. They're the newest residents of the University of Iowa's International Writing Program. Host Ben Kieffer talks with resident writers from Russia, Pakistan and New Zealand, along with the program's director poet and essayist Christopher Merrill. We'll see how their work is informed by current events and what they hope to accomplish during their 10 weeks in Iowa.
