Google's AlphaGo Wins Match Against 'Go' World Champion

A Google computer program called AlphaGohas beaten a world champion of the Chinese board game “Go.” Lee Se-dol was defeated today in Seoul. The ancient Chinese game has been considered very difficult for a computer to master, because of the nearly endless possible board configurations.
