Girl Scouts is turning 100. On today's talk of Iowa we’ll look back at the history of Girl Scouts of America, we’ll talk about the role that First Lady Lou Henry Hoover played in the early years of scouting, we’ll find out how girls all over Iowa are marking the centennial, and we want to hear our listeners' Girl Scout memories. Guests include Kristin Hunter of the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, Lynn Smith of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum in West Branch and Diane Nelson, CEO of Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois as well as several Scouts and Troop leaders.
