Featured Release This Week From Tedeschi Trucks Band

Let Me Get By is the third studio album, and fourth full-length release overall from the Tedeschi Trucks Band.  The Jacksonville, Florida blues-rock band is led by married couple Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi.  Both are guitarists, and Susan Tedeschi also sings lead vocals in the band.  The two musicians led their own bands (Trucks is also a veteran of The Allman Brothers Band) before combining their talents as the Tedeschi Trucks Band in 2010.  The skilled 12-piece group draws upon R&B, soul, funk, jazz, gospel, Southern rock and more on Let Me Get By, with Tedeschi handling most of the lead vocals.  She occasionally hands those vocal duties over to Mike Mattison for a bit of contrast over the course of the record.  Trucks just lets his guitar do the talking throughout.
