Dragonfly Swarms a Marker of Good Water Quality

There have been reports of dragonfly swarms in certain parts of the state this summer. 

According to Iowa State entomologist Donald Lewis, that's a good sign. "Dragonflies usually swarm around places where there is high water quality," he explains. "If we could all be so luck to see a lot of them, that's a good thing."
