Iowa is seeing a resurgence of pertussis or whooping cough. Mumps is also making a comeback. Just a few years ago, there was a measles outbreak in the state. And every year, thousands are hospitalized due to influenza. These are diseases commonly covered by immunizations. So, why the resurgence?
