Daniel Kleinknecht and the Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre join host Jacqueline Halbloom during the 3 o'clock hour to discuss the CROT's upcoming production, The Art of Chocolate, which features two one-act operas. Bon Appétit, by Lee Hoiby, features mezzo soprano and Cedar Rapids native, Karen Brunsson, in the comedic role of Julia Child baking a chocolate gateau. Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre Young Artists, Channing Connell, Brian Kuhl, and Andrew Wannigman star in Henry Mollicone's Face on the Bar Room Floor. This delightful evening of music includes a featured presentation by noted host Lynne Rossetto Kasper of public radio’s The Splendid Table, produced by American Public Media.
