Behind the scenes of "Downton Abbey" with Jessica Fellowes

St. Martin's Press

A rich American girl goes to England where she meets and marries an English lord with an amazing house and a cash flow problem; that's the true story of the hit series "Downton Abbey."

Julian Fellowes, the creator of "Downton Abbey" has described Cora Crawley--Lady Grantham--as the mother of the series. Once he conceived of her character the rest of the world bloomed around her.  This hour "Talk of Iowa" talks about "Downton Abbey" with Jessica Fellowes, the niece of the creator and the author of two books about the series; "The World of Downton Abbey" and "The Chronicles of Downton Abbey."
