Iowa Public Radio is airing several American Public Media documentaries in place of River to River, in the brief absence of the show's host, Ben Kieffer.
This fall, IPR has aired several APM Reports documentaries on education, including: an hour featuring the stories of young immigrants fighting for a piece of the American Dream; a look at why the United States is struggling to attract and keep teachers; and how a growing number of colleges and universities in the eastern United States are confronting their historic ties to the slave trade.
