Abortion Bills in Iowa Legislature

Two abortion bills are under consideration in the Iowa House. One would place restrictions on abortions after 20 weeks in a pregnancy. The other, which is aimed at triggering a court challenge, bans abortion altogether and sets conception as the time when life begins. We'll find out how common abortion is in the state, and talk with interests on both sides of the issue. Among the guests- Jill France of the Iowa Department of Public Health, Democratic State Senator Jack Hatch, Chuck Hurley of the Iowa Family Policy Center and Assistant Professor Ian Bartrum of Drake University Law School.
