"This American Life" will present a unique, one-time only event at select movie theaters for its public radio audience on Thursday, May 1 at 7:00 PM CDT. "This American Life – Live!" is a sneak-preview of the second season of the TAL TV Series. Ira Glass will show outtakes, behind-the-scenes material, take audience questions, and more. Plus Ira will perform and mix a radio story live onstage!

The show will be transmitted LIVE via satellite to 300+ movie theaters across the country.

Ames: Movies 12 (1317 Buckeye Avenue)
West Des Moines: Jordan Creek 20 (101 Jordan Creek Parkway)

WHO'S ELIGIBLE:
20 lucky winners will receive a pair of tickets for the TAL movie theatre event at one of the participating Iowa theatres above. Anyone who shows support to Iowa Public Radio by pledging online or calling 1-800-861-8000 during the Iowa Public Radio broadcast of "This American Life" is automatically eligible for the giveaway. Donation is not required to be entered. Contact Iowa Public Radio on Saturday, April 5 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM CDT or Sunday, April 6 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM CDT to be entered.

SINGLE SALE TICKETS:
Single tickets for this event will also be available for sale through the individual participating theatres.

RULES:
Support shown to Iowa Public Radio stations between the hours of 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM CDT on Saturday, April 5, 2008 and between the hours of 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM CDT on Sunday, April 6, 2008 only are eligible for drawing.

There will be 20 winners chosen at random from all station contacts (via phone or online participation). The odds of winning depend upon the number of valid entries received.

Need not make a pledge to be eligible for drawing.
