A Nation Engaged
IPR is partnering with NPR and member stations around the country to explore the topic of “Power and the Presidency.” We want to have a conversation about how powerful any American President should be, and we’d like you to join us.
IPR’s Ben Kieffer will moderate the discussion in Iowa at 7:00 p.m. on April 25th at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum in West Branch. NPR’s Sarah McCammon, who covered the Trump campaign during the election, will join the conversation along with UNI political science Professor Donna Hoffman and presidential historian Tim Walch. Be part of the live audience, and then listen Thursday, April 27th at 10:00 a.m. as On Point brings conversations from Iowa, Atlanta, Kansas City and Santa Barbara together as part of a larger, national conversation.
