Iowa Public Radio seeks a detailed and committed broadcasting professional to join our operations staff as Broadcast Operations Specialist. Located in the Ames office, this individual is responsible for monitoring and preparation of the broadcast product package in order to provide a consistent, high-quality product for listeners. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing support and maintenance around the computer-controlled automation system and audio and transmitter systems as they relate to broadcast operations, and providing assistance to other departments around their use of audio technology.

Iowa Public Radio seeks a committed and energetic IT professional to join our network operations staff as IT Specialist. Located in the Iowa City office, this individual will serve as site coordinator for Information Technology as it relates to individual employee needs and broadcast & network support. This includes participating in planning, implementing, installing, training, maintaining, and supporting broadcast and end-user system hardware, software, and networks. Additionally, the IT Specialist is responsible for serving as Iowa Public Radio’s liaison to University IT representatives as it relates to end user rights and requirements.
