New Federal School Nutrition Law & Shortened Lunches
We know that more Iowa students qualify for free and reduced lunch, making meals served at school more important than ever. Host Ben Kieffer talks with Iowa Public Radio reporter Kate Wells about her recent coverage of these issues and to Second District Congressman Dave Loebsack who is a strong advocate of the new law. Later, we'll talk about the culture of school lunches and the time it takes students to eat lunch.
